HINGED COLD ROOM DOOR
SPECIFICATION
Hinged cold room doors are engineered and manufactured to meet the specific demands of cold storage facilities and the food industry. Depending on the door type, they are constructed with 60-120 mm thick panels, filled with polyurethane foam to provide a high level of thermal insulation. These panels are clad in either stainless steel or polyester-coated sheet steel for durability and a clean finish.
Both door types feature a PVC frame structure and are equipped with a recessed threshold that sits below floor level in the cold room, complete with an integrated heating system to prevent freezing. Smaller doors and those designed for medium-temperature ranges are supplied with a frame that encloses the panel aperture, making installation exceptionally straightforward. This frame is also suitable for finishing the edges of the cold room panel itself. Consequently, when installing the door, there is no need for an additional sub-frame or for later finishing of the panel edges.
This design ensures a robust, energy-efficient solution that combines easy installation with long-term reliability for industrial applications.
